The Purdue Engineering Fountain serves multiple purposes beyond just being a water fountain. It acts as a colorful work of art at night and is a popular spot for students to walk between classes, relax, socialize, and take photos. The fountain is also part of Purdue's annual Fountain Run tradition. While its main function is as a water fountain, it provides students with an iconic gathering place on campus.

Purdues Engineering Fountain is an architectural masterpiece.
But, is it just something to look at?
Is it more than just a water fountain?
Yes, it is!
At night, the fountain serves as a colorful work of art.
Its a place for students to walk to class.
Its a place for students to study or relax.
Its a great location for social outings and for photo opportunities.
Its a place to have fun!
And, of course, it is part of Purdues Fountain Run
The fountain has one main use, but it has many other uses as well.
