The Purdue Engineering Fountain serves several purposes beyond just being a water fountain. At night, it provides colorful visual art for students walking to class. During the day, students use it as a place to relax, socialize, and take photos. It is a popular spot for both work and play, and is also part of the annual Fountain Run tradition.

Purdues Engineering Fountain is an architectural masterpiece.
But, is it just something to look at?
Is it more than just a water fountain?
Yes, it is!
At night, the fountain serves as a colorful work of art.
Its a place for students to walk to class.
Its a place for students to study or relax.
Its great location for social outings and for photo opportunities.
Its a place to have fun!
And of course, its half of Purdues Fountain Run.
