Background and introduction
?2016: Jiscs Library Data Labs project (Jisc/HESA)

?Jisc team put together visuals inTableau using JUSP
data blended with data from other sources e.g. IRUS /
journal impact factors - as a proof of concept
?Decision to take JUSP visualisations forward early 2017
?Development and engagement with CAG / 3rd parties

Whats included in the visualisations
?Current visualisations are for journal usage
?Currently 19 dashboards and visuals in 3 distinct areas:
? Publisher-level C includes trend and comparison data
? Summary reports e.g. SCONUL, top publishers
? Title-level e.g. top titles, accesses denied/turnaways
?Interactivity and export functionality
?Features based on recommendations from CAG / testing
?Data for 2009-2017 where possible (see caveats later!)

?No facility for you to add your own data, as with core

Caveats and things to be aware of
?Data are not live so can be short delay in adding new
monthly data or changing data after any restatements
?Visuals remain in development and subject to change
?Visualisations do not replace core JUSP reports
?Export functionality doesnt include underlying data
?Occasional glitches fromTableau server C see support
