DPS is proposing streamlining initiatives at its manufacturing facilities that will result in significant cost savings and increased efficiency. By networking its plants and sharing existing spare parts and machinery instead of always purchasing new ones, DPS estimates it will save $9 million per year. The changes will also reduce waste and environmental impact by making better use of current resources and inventory across locations.

Innovative Savings  Manufacturing Facility Networking  Once the DPS plants are networked, we can easily share a new type of inventory – existing plant parts and machinery.  Current processes dictate ordering new parts and machinery. They saw the savings in not buying parts we already have. Gets our I nventorues down. Helps others plants out. Bypasses vendors. Only cost is shipping. Next day service.
