I've just officially started my "adult life." Packing my life, I moved from my little village in Clifford PA across the country to Yuma AZ. Instead of mountains and trees, I am surrounded by desert and heat.
In a rather large school about six minutes from the Mexican border I am teaching Biology to 130 freshmen. The people here are so warm and inviting that the distance from everything I'm used to is not so daunting.
Back at the parents' house are my 5 puppies. I miss them every day, especially my baby Mia. Helping with the loneliness are my two new babies though, my kitties Ritz and Trisc. I just wish I could have all seven with me <3
