My research interests focus on understanding the mechanistic and structural dynamics of disease altered cell signaling with an impetus towards identifying and developing novel targeted therapies. Specific projects that I aim to study include elucidating an atomic structure of full-length receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs), monitoring the regulation mechanisms of protein-protein interactions in cell signal transduction mediated via RTKs, employing structure-based drug design to treat related diseases like cancer and developmental disorders utilizing macromolecular x-ray crystallography, protein engineering, cell biology and chemical syntheses.
