James began his career as a trader directly out of law school. During his tenure as a junior trader and then Head of Equity Trading he saw the firms assets grow from $30 million in AUM to nearly $1 billion across various strategies. During that period of rapid growth James implemented programs to manage the trading processes and compliance infrastructure while contributing to the firms trading and hedging strategies. Additionally, James has worked closely with several portfolio companies and serves on the board of directors of Nectar Services Corp. James enjoys investing in and advising early stage companies and sits on the board of United Contests, Inc.
