Born and schooled in Hong Kong and after graduated from the Hong Kong university of Science and Technology, Jan started out his career as a researcher in a surface physics laboratory.  Taking off his lab coat, he began his agency career at Foote Cone & Belding in 2001, until later he joined TBWA\ in 2003 and since then he has always been there. In the eleven years he spent with TBWA\, Jan has carried many different hats, from a project manager for brand and event experience at the beginning, to later he worked on different integrated businesses.
