James Adams was born in Jackson, Mississippi in 1962 attending Provine High School and transferring to Anaheim Union High in Anaheim, California. Afterwards, he joined the US Marines and traveled to the Republic of the Philippines, South Korea, Japan, Tinan Island, and Australia. He then pursued a life-quest of travel to Africa, Europe, India, The Middle East, and South East Asia before returning to Anaheim where he attended the Columbia School of Broadcasting and getting his FCC 3rd Class Endorsed Radiotelephone Operator's License.
James completed internships at KUTE 102 FM and KGFJ 1230AM Radio. He then attended San Bernardino Valley College, getting an Associate of Arts in Pre-Law. He
