About
Ph.D. in Economics, University of Barcelona. I had a part-time job as research assistant at Barcelona Economics Institute. I worked for the Chair on Markets and Industrial Policy. My Ph.D. dissertation deals with the relationship between higher education and regional development. My research question is: To what extent Institutions of Higher Education generate impacts on regional economic development that would otherwise not occur?
Prior to joining the University of Barcelona, I was working in a project of development cooperation which involved several international organizations such as World Bank, UNDP, IOM, Secours Catholique, Christian Aid, Japanese Government, among others.
