Camtasia can be used to add video lectures and recordings to online and blended courses. It allows instructors to capture screen content, presentations, or themselves on camera. Instructors should have an outline, look at the camera, check lighting and background, use notes naturally, and edit or retake recordings as needed. When recording, instructors should have an opening rehearsed, speak slowly for clarity, wear light blue which appears well on camera, avoid black clothing which looks bad, and remove wrist jewelry which can make noise.
