In 2002, I received the Masters degree in engineering (computer science) from the University of Ghent. Since August 2002, I have been affiliated with the Internet Based Communication Networks and Services research group (IBCN) of the Department of Information Technology at Ghent University, which is part of iMinds. In 2007, I obtained a PhD in computer science engineering. Currently, I am assistant professor at Ghent University and senior researcher at iMinds - IBCN - UGent.
