Challenged with the setting up of Hurley, the Nike surf company, in South Africa and for subsequently taking full and complete ownership for business strategy, sales, planning, financials, marketing, risk, compliance, operations and HR.
• Defined the business strategy and operations framework that would see Hurley move from a start-up position in South Africa to a market leader in sales by 2015, with 7 divisions, 5 retail stores, and 65 staff.
