I am very passionate about what I do. I cannot imagine NOT teaching. Teaching reading is so exciting as I get to teach children to do something that will carry with them, and be useful, their entire lives. I love the diversity the children I teach bring with them...it enhances our classroom and allows me to get an insight into who they are not only as students, but as people. I am also loving teaching at the university level. Being able to share my passion about education, along with being a mentor is amazing! I truly have the best of both worlds. I am excited about future possibilities with my profession.
