After highschool, I went to college, then got married, and moved for my husband's job. I took a year off from school then went back for a year and a half and then moved again for Ellis' job. I worked for a year, then took some classes, then took time off for babies. In between my oldest, Gerald, and my youngest, Gaylin, we moved back to Stillwater, OK, where Ellis still teaches at OSU. When the kids started school, I went back and this time finished. My goal was to pay back my loans by my 40th bday and I just barely made it. I freelanced for a while, then began working on a state grant run by my husband's boss. I worked there for nine years, but had to leave because of chronic migrain
