James Phelps brings a wealth of research and development experience from the commercial, defense, and aerospace sectors. In the early 90’s, James invented an innovative planar RF filter design that was used extensively in missile destruct receivers. From the mid 1986 to 2002, James developed many RF and Microwave products for L-3 Communications, including an innovative quadricorrelating receiver for the STEX space experiment, a broadband jammer for the Army, and L-3’s first software-defined radio.
