I teach journalism. I own a public policy research company. I love to laugh and be outrageous. Most students inspire me to give them the best I have to offer. I think the classroom is a place to share ideas and inspire others to share their ideas. I view college professors in one of two categories: the Sage on the Stage who says, "I have knowledge. Come worship at my feet and I will share it with you." The other kind of college professor, the one who believes students are rightfully partners in education, says, "I have knowledge.
