My desire to be an educator lead me to transition from teaching elementary students to teaching English Language Learners. During my tenure as an ELL teacher, I have worked with students from Somali, The Sudan, Cambodia, China, Bosnia, Vietnam, Mexico, Chili, and many other countries. I have the ability to make people feel comfortable and safe in a learning environment. Some of my skills include:
-Creating materials for English Language Learners
-Managing after school activities
-Communicating with parents and staff members
-Working as school/family liason
-Publishing "The Apartment Dweller"-a free newsletter for apartment residents
