Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Joeangel has B.F.A degree in Industrial Design with a minor in furniture design from the School of Fine Arts of Puerto Rico, currently he is pursuing an M.F.A degree in Furniture design at the Savannah College of Art and Design anticipating graduating in spring 2014. He believes that simple designs provide simple solutions that are utilitarian in nature, while striving to flourish curiosity through his designs.
