Johanne Lavall茅e is a 1995 Oshawa, Ontario Durham College (now a university) graduate in electronic engineering technology. Technical writing was in her wishes, coming out of school. She started writing in 1997 in the manufacturing field, mainly on software and electronics. In 17 years, she used all the possible technical writing tools, in english and french, from marketing to parts and even designing safety warning stickers. SMEs love her muffins, supervisors appreciate her team spirit. She now works in a 200-employee traffic display systems manufacturing company, solo-writing operation, maintenance, parts manual, even reviewing CAD views and designing safety warning stickers.
