I have been in the computer industry for over 50 years. My first computer was a vacuum tube analog computer programmed with a plug board; my most recent work entails a cluster of cloud computers extracting text from images which is handed to machine learning algorithms with code written in Java and Ruby with a sprinkling of Hadoop and noSQL databases.
My strength is the breadth of experience and knowledge that those 50 years have given me.
