About
Actively seeking a full-time, university faculty position in Mechanical Engineering, Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, or Physics, starting in the summer or fall of 2017. Currently planning to graduate with my Ph.D. in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in June of 2017. My research is in the field of solid mechanics, and focuses on high temperature creep and damage in metals. I also have several semesters of teaching experience, including three semesters as the official instructor for an undergraduate-level Introductory Dynamics course.
