About
José has been Geologist and Manager of Geologia e Geotecnia Consultores since 1989. He is a 1982 graduate from Université Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris VI, France and a 1983 postgraduate in Geologie Appliquée from the same university.
He has over 30 years exploration experience in various terrains of 3 continents, including: Western Australian Archaean Greenstone belts, Southern African Archaean and Proterozoic gold and tin-tantalum-lithium corridors; European Paleozoic goldfields and Paleozoic-to-recent industrial mineral deposits. He participated in regional exploration programs as geologist of the Portuguese Geological Survey and worked in diamond exploration in Angola.
