The past 9 years as Editorial Director at the Canadian Urological Association have been monumental for me. I, along with the founding Editor-in-chief, established the Canadian Urological Association Journal (CUAJ). I developed editorial policies and layout design for this new journal in 2006. Under my direction and supervision, the journal was conceived and born within 4 months. Nine years into its operations, CUAJ now sustains itself financially and is thriving editorially. CUAJ has recently expanded its digital reach by launching a digital edition of our print journal.
