I am a research staff member at the IBM Austin Research Lab. I am passionate about the analysis of large-scale applications and the design of systems. My current focus is object data stores that scale to a very large number of objects, offering reliability and clean interfaces. I am also exploring provisioning, orchestration and monitoring of services in IaaS and PaaS cloud systems.
During my time at IBM, I have also studied and designed techniques to manage power and thermals of computer servers and data centers.
