June 13, 2007, I began ministry as a full time, long term volunteer in southwestern Honduras, with the diocese of Santa Rosa de Copán. I am helping and living in the rural parish of Dulce Nombre de MarÃa.
From 2009 to 2014 I served as associate director of the diocesan CARITAS office. I had helped with a lunch program for poor kids in Santa Rosa, and occasionally assisted the campus ministry at the Santa Rosa campus of the Catholic University as well as working with several projects in the diocese.
