I assess all of my patients needs in a holistic way, and prefer to order lab tests, ECG’s and, if necessary, CXR’s, before starting medication, and I try to have contact with the patient’s family, whenever permitted.
I have experience and knowledge in the following areas of Psychiatry: Child and Family Psychiatry, General Adult Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry, Cultural Psychiatry, Administrative Psychiatry, Mental Handicap Psychiatry, Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy.
I am a Christian and believe in the power of prayer. I worship at All Saints Church, Dunedin.
