Manager of optical technologies group at CPqD Foundation, team composed by 100 people, based on the innovation wheel (Research, Development and Market = Innovation), aiming DWDM optical core networks, submarine Networks, optical access and metro networks.
The team is composed by the following sub-areas:
- Transmission and Networks
- Transmission: Advanced modulation formats (DP-QPSK, DP-nQAM), 100/400/1000 Gbps data rates (single/multiple carrier) and beyond with coherent reception.
- DSP: Digital signal processing aiming to remove linear and non-linear fiber impairments.
- Optical Amplifiers: EDFAs, Raman Amplifiers, ROPAs and Hybrid amplifiers linecards and repeaterless systems.
