When I was 16, I climbed Mount Kinabalu. Not metaphorically鈥擨 literally climbed one of the highest mountains in South East Asia.
Whilst hiking, I thought about turning back approximately 5,000 times. (And that鈥檚 a lowball estimate.) But despite the high winds, mental and physical fatigue, and trail mix overdose, I kept going. I鈥檓 that person. Once I say I鈥檒l do something, it will happen.
Now, I put that perseverance to work as a sustainability engagement officer for RMIT. I don鈥檛 have to climb any mountains鈥ut I do have to move them.
