Jumril Yunas obtained his Ph.D. in 2008 from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in MEMS devices and technology and Dipl.-Ing. in semiconductor technology from the University of Technology RWTH Aachen in Germany (1997). He has been a research fellow at University Kebangsaan Malaysia since 2009, where he is currently associate professor in the Institute of Microengineering and Nanoelectronics, UKM. Previously he was a research fellow at Indonesian Institute of Sciences, Indonesia for 7 years. His current research interest includes RF-MEMS for telecommunication, micro-sensors and actuators for biomedical engineering, and Lab-on-Chip.
