Nordic Microcap Investment AB is a Swedish investment company specialized in Microfinance institutions in Sub-Saharan Africa, focusing on three regions: West Africa, Central Africa and East Africa.
The company is based in Uppsala and has a representation office in Johannesburg, South Africa. The company is part of the Microfinance House (Mikrofinanshuset).
Our mission is to invest in financial institutions that meet the needs of ordinary people in countries where most of the population today lack access to such services. In cooperation with local promotors we build profitable microfinance institutions aiming at becoming or continue to be market leaders.
