She is a third-year Bachelor of Education student at the University of Johannesburg who aims to be the educator she wishes she had, who appreciates that learners are not passive empty vessels that need to be filled up with knowledge but rather active and knowledgeable human beings who are critical thinkers. Majoring in English and Physical Education, she aims to teach her learners how to think and not what to think through the usage of the English language as a base for learners to acquire worthwhile education that is of intrinsic value and develop their capabilities and achieve functionings to overcome the enfreedoms that limit their opportunities to choose what they want to become and do.
