Kariann was born and raised in new media. She began her career at The University @ Albany in Fine Arts and expanded to an Interactive Media degree from the Art Institute of Seattle. After working at a digital media firm in NYC, she moved back home to Saratoga Springs and started a web development firm specializing in ecommerce and project management systems.
After growing the company to 10 employees, she sold the company and decided it was time to move into the direct marketing world. She then worked at an advertising agency building their interactive services division where she concentrated on competitor and target audience research.
