I'm an assistant professor of literacy in the Teacher Education department at Miami University. My research interests include (early) adolescents'鈥� literacy practices (emphasis on writing), multimodal literacy (emphasis on multiple sign systems and transmediation), and pre-service/in-service teachers' pedagogical decisions. I also have an affinity for picturebooks and young adult literature.
