The people with jobs are being told that they won鈥檛 be getting raises or worse鈥ill be taking a cut in pay. There was so much press around McDonalds hiring 30,000 new workers last year because everyone thought they would be employing out of work teenagers. Everyone was shocked to see the majority of applicants and PEOPLE HIRED were adults with college educations and mortgages who had fallen out of the work force. They were facing shrinking their lives into an $8.00 per hour box. Not very many people can support themselves on $1700 per month.
