I am passionate about working with physicians and patients to explore innovations in cardiovascular technology. As a former project engineer for a start-up medical device company, I participated in many functions to develop the product from design qualification, to regulatory review, to clinical trial, through transfer to manufacturing. From that experience, I discovered a joy for engaging with patients and so I returned to nursing school and earned my credentials as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
