Kelvin performed in the 2009 Big Night In Telethon. He was fortunate enough to get enough votes from New Zealand to win the South Island competition and compete against the best in the North Island. He didn't win, but would like to thank everyone for their support.
After performed live on the "Good Morning Show" (recorded at Avalon Studios - Wellington), Kelvin Cummings took an opportunity to sing in the second season of "Stars In Their Eyes". His depiction of Jerry Lee Lewis helped spread his name throughout the country. Kelvin now finds himself performing numerous professional sporting events. He is now able to give back to the community by performing for various charitable organisation
