Kenny is the student media adviser and director of the digital video center at Samford University where he works with students developing cross-platform journalism skills.
Kenny is also pursuing a doctorate in communication and information sciences from the University of Alabama. A veteran journalist with experience in all mass media formats, his research centers on how we produce, obtain and use information. His interests are in social media, convergence journalism and news on mobile devices.
He holds a bachelor's degree in agricultural journalism from Auburn University and a master's degree in communication management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
