I am passionate about improving the healthcare system and how I will contribute to this monumental task. I have been blessed to work as a front line healthcare professional, as a volunteer board member for my national professional society,on the operational side as a nursing manager, and in the system improvement side as a quality improvement coach. I feel it incumbent upon me to leverage those experiences with one end in mind...empowering others in healthcare by removing barriers, improving the systems that support their work...and then getting out of the way.
