About
I am Khashayar Rahimi, born in May 1994, Tehran. By the age of 15, I started making videos using my cell phone. I began with stop-motions and then continued with live-action subjects. I’m studying Cinematography at Tehran University of Arts. I've directed a few short films including 28 Percent Pure, which has been screened in many different festivals and won some awards. My latest project, Apophis, is an apocalyptic short film.
In the past years, I focused on many variant projects as a graphic designer, photographer, multimedia designer, and digital content creator. I've also been a co-organizer of two local-based events: Startup Weekend Arts Tehran and TEDxTUA.
