Professor Kibiwott Peter Kurgat earned his PhD degree in English Language Education from the University of Warwick, UK. He has taught Linguistics, English, and Communication in Egerton University, Moi University and the United States International University, Kenya. He is currently a senior faculty member and Dean of the Faculty of Information Sciences and Technology at Kisii University. His research interests are in Media and Communication, Political Communication, Academic Writing, English for Academic Purposes, English for Specific Purposes, Vocabulary learning and teaching, General and African linguistics and multilingualism as a resource.
