I have taught both 7th and 8th grade Language arts for 13 years at Gridley. The last few years I have taken on the role of coaching teachers in our building to use Systems Thinking tools. Many opportunities to collaborate, co-teach, and observe, have given me the experience to plan curriculum that connects to both Science and Math. I have had a Children's Forest Classroom the last two years that has focused on STEM standards. My focus has been to change students perspectives so that they might solve world-wide problems in order to make a difference in our world.
