What can I say...I'm a typical working mom...so much so that when Nick was 11, Mike and I realized that in a few short years, our baby would be heading to college, and we'd be empty-nesters in our early forties. So, we decided to start all over again.
Now Nick is 17, and we just marked the two-year anniversary of our adoption of Morgan Daria, who is three. I find it hard to believe that Nick truly will be in college next year. (He's been offered a scholarship to play football for Army and has been appointed to West Point.) What's even harder to believe is that when he does start college, I will be counting my blessings that I still have one year left before sending Morgan to Kindergar
