Kostas holds a PhD from the University of Athens, Dept. of Informatics and Telecommunications. He has published several research papers in the areas of software engineering, data management and digital libraries.
He is currently an Adjunct Lecturer in the Dept. of Informatics and Telecommunications, University of Athens, teaching the Software Engineering course.
Kostas was among the first Java enthusiasts in Greece and he still enjoys pushing Java technology to the limits. He has been a freelance software developer, instructor and consultant since 1999 and he is proficient in server-side software, databases and web development.
