Internships/Work Experience:
 Worked on a Hardware Simulator Development at IIT, Kharagpur, under the guidance of Professor Chittaranjan
Mondal. Main purpose of the Simulator was to eradicate the need for physical equipment in under developed
colleges. Also helpful for at home practice for lab tests. Tested the software, built various circuits, and gave feedback
on how to enhance it and make it more user friendly. (June 2015-September 2015)
 Worked on a database management project in the life science department of Cognizant. Had to observe the work
done by the client, collect Data, and write in depth report on the requirements of the client, to give a general skeletal
overview on how the database should be organized. (May 2014-July 2014)
 Administrative internship for a Candidate for the NYC Democratic Party. Had to collect data, analyze and study
census, and give detailed reports on it. Also had to organize several meetings for the Candidate running for office, and
has to write up and submit detailed minutes after each meeting. (June 2012-July 2012)
Projects:
 Final Year Project was in the domain of analyzing power dissipation of digital circuits by simulating their behavior
using LT Spice, under the guidance of Professor Surajeet Ghosh, Dept of Computer Science and Technology, IIEST,
Shibpur. Had to simulate various circuits, calculate power dissipation, and then re-calculate power dissipation after
tweaking different components of the circuit one at a time. This gave a clear understanding of the effect of each
element on the overall circuit, and the best possible scenarios for which power dissipation would be lowest.
 Mini Project on “Developing Better Gaming Environments and Interfaces for better game designing and 3D
simulation” under Professor. Sulata Mitra, Dept. of Computer Science and Technology, IIEST Shibpur. Different
software were used and studied to see how each differed from the other. The functionality of each component was
understood and tested to see how they enhanced the performance of the overall software. Had to observe and

record the difficulties faced in each so that we could give an overview of the best possible user friendly software for
future game designers.
 Project on “Finding the Shortest path in a Network System” under Professor Sulata Mitra, Dept. of Computer Science
and Technology, IIEST, Shibpur.
