This document discusses a model for integrating self-directed learning, constructionism, and new media into higher education in Thailand. It proposes that self-directed learning design combined with constructionism is an effective approach for students' creative thinking development when used in the new media environment. New media like social networks, blogs, and mobile applications can support learning and teaching by changing learning styles. The model involves constructionism and self-directed learning principles in a new media environment to promote creative thinking among Thai university students.
