A classically trained musician, Krys began singing and playing clarinet at the age of six and then added various other traditional instruments to her repertoire, including piano. She holds a Bachelor鈥檚 Degree in Music Education from Duquesne University,Pittsburgh, where she focused in voice and saxophone. Presently, she teaches music at a local elementary school.
Krys started writing her own music at the age of fifteen. She has had several hundred songs composed for, and performed by various groups. She is currently writing for Baker's Boys, choral ensembles, and is setting the lyrics of various poets and lyricists.
