Since my birth on April 3rd, 1980 and raised in North Philadelphia, PA, music and movement has been who I am for as long as I can remember. You could always catch me in my Grandmother鈥檚 kitchen, on Taney Street, dancing and emulating the latest moves from movies and videos of the 80s and 90s. When I saw the movie 鈥淏reakin鈥� the first time, it was an eye and mind-opening experience& also a challenge. It was a combination of the dance moves and how serious the dancers in the movie took their craft that made me want to create and fine tune a style of my own.
