With extensive experience in the maritime and security sectors, working with three levels of government and commercial enterprise, Larry served for 35 years as a naval officer in appointments of increasing responsibility before retiring in 2012. He held Director General level positions at national headquarters leading military and civilian human resource policy formulation and implementation, and managing maritime operations. At the tactical level, he held multiple command appointments of submarines, ships, and shore formations.
