After working on Late Show with David Letterman for 25 years as a live music audio engineer, I always had to learn quickly, and be able to translate new techniques and needs immediately. This skill will translate well when learning new skills. My ability to work with all types of people was necessary when working with musicians, fellow technicians, all levels of management, as well as interns. Listening skills were essential, and will serve me well in a transition to a new position.
